Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 14, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Wunderland Dispensaries LLC d/b/a Lakeshore Cannabis Club (also written "Lake Shore Cannabis Club") ("Lakeshore Cannabis Club," "Lakeshore," "Company," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you. It applies to our dispensary at 1335 Lakeside Drive, Unit 4, Romeoville, Illinois 60446, our website at https://www.lakeshorecannabisclub.com, our online menu and ordering site at https://shop.lakeshorecannabisclub.com, our loyalty program, and our text message and email communications (together, the "Services").
This Privacy Policy is part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service. By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy.
Age Requirement (21+ Only)
Lakeshore Cannabis Club is an adult-use cannabis dispensary. Our store, website, online ordering, loyalty program, and marketing messages are intended only for individuals who are twenty-one (21) years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21. If we learn that we have collected information from a person under 21, we will delete it, except where we are required by law to keep it. If you believe a person under 21 has provided us with information, please contact us using the information at the end of this policy.
Information We Collect
Information you provide to us
Contact and profile information, such as your name, mobile phone number, and email address.
Date of birth, including the month, day, and year you were born, which we collect when you join our loyalty program and use to confirm that you are 21 or older and to send birthday offers.
Online order information, such as the products you select, your pickup details, and the name, phone number, and email address you provide to place and pick up an order.
Loyalty program information, such as your membership status, points earned and redeemed, and rewards or offers you receive and use.
Communications, such as messages you send us by email, text, phone, our contact form, or social media, including product support or "make good" requests and any photos, receipts, or descriptions you send with them.
Age and ID verification at check-in
Illinois law requires us to verify that every customer is 21 or older before entering and purchasing cannabis. When you check in, we inspect your valid government-issued photo ID and, as Illinois law requires, scan it with an electronic reader or scanning device to confirm your age and the validity of the ID. Under the Illinois Cannabis Regulation and Tax Act, identifying or personal information obtained during this process may not be retained, used, shared, or disclosed for any purpose except as authorized by that Act. We do not use ID information for marketing.
Purchase information
When you make a purchase, we record transaction details such as the products, quantities, prices, date, and time, as required for regulatory compliance. Illinois rules prohibit dispensaries from collecting or storing a purchaser's personal information from the transaction itself without the purchaser's consent, and require our systems to delete purchaser personal information within 24 hours after a purchase is completed, except as otherwise permitted by law. If you choose to join our loyalty program or create an account, we keep your purchase history connected to your membership with your consent, so you can earn points and receive relevant offers.
Information collected automatically when you use our websites
Device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, links clicked, and the dates and times of your visits.
Cookies and similar technologies, described in the "Cookies and Analytics" section below.
Information from service providers
We may receive information about you from the service providers that run our loyalty program, point-of-sale and online ordering systems, and payment processing, such as your loyalty points balance, order status, or confirmation that a payment was approved.
How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
verify age and identity and comply with Illinois cannabis laws, including purchase limits;
process, prepare, and fulfill in-store and online orders, and send order confirmations and pickup notifications;
process payments and prevent fraud;
operate our loyalty program, including tracking points, rewards, birthday offers, and member deals;
send you marketing text messages and emails if you have opted in to receive them;
respond to questions, product support requests, and other communications;
operate, maintain, secure, and improve our store, websites, and Services, and understand how visitors use our websites;
protect the safety and security of our customers, employees, store, and products; and
comply with legal, regulatory, tax, and recordkeeping obligations, and enforce our Terms of Service.
Loyalty Program
Our loyalty program is optional. Members earn points on qualifying purchases and receive offers, rewards, and promotions. Our loyalty program is operated by our service provider Springbig, and members can view their rewards through the Springbig rewards wallet (for example, at loyaltymessages.com or mywallet.deals). Our point-of-sale and online menu run on the Jane platform, which shares purchase information with Springbig so your points can be calculated. The "Join The Club" sign-up on our website takes you to our Springbig loyalty sign-up page at https://loyaltymessages.com/join/49305, and the information you enter there is collected by Springbig on our behalf.
When you join, we and Springbig collect your name, mobile phone number, email address (if provided), full date of birth (month, day, and year), and your purchase and rewards history with Lakeshore Cannabis Club. We use this information to run the program, calculate and redeem rewards, and select offers that are relevant to you based on your purchase history and interests. Springbig's handling of this information is also described in the Springbig Privacy Policy.
You may leave the loyalty program at any time by contacting us. Leaving the program may result in the loss of any unredeemed points or rewards.
Text Message (SMS/MMS) Program
If you opt in, Lakeshore Cannabis Club will send you recurring automated text messages about promotions, deals, new products, loyalty rewards, and store updates, and may send messages related to your orders. You may opt in by providing your mobile number and agreeing to receive texts in our store, on our website or online ordering site, through our loyalty program sign-up, or by texting a keyword we publish to our program number.
Consent is not a condition of purchase. You do not have to agree to receive text messages to buy any product or service from us.
Message frequency varies.
Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details about your plan.
To opt out, reply STOP to any text message from us at any time. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and you will receive no further marketing texts unless you opt in again.
For help, reply HELP to any text message, or contact us at [email protected] or (630) 755-4176.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
You must be 21 or older to enroll in our text message program.
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is shared only with service providers that help us deliver our text messages (such as Springbig and its messaging partners and the wireless carriers), and only so they can provide that service to us. All other categories of sharing described in this Privacy Policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Email Marketing
If you opt in, we may send you emails about promotions, new products, events, and loyalty rewards. Consent to receive marketing emails is not a condition of purchase. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any marketing email or by contacting us. Even if you unsubscribe from marketing emails, we may still send you non-marketing messages, such as order confirmations or responses to your requests.
Cookies and Analytics
Our websites, like most websites, use cookies and similar technologies (small data files stored on your browser or device). Our main website is hosted on Squarespace, and our online menu and ordering site is provided by Jane. These platforms use cookies that are necessary for the sites to function (for example, to keep items in your cart, keep you signed in, and protect against fraud and spam, including through Google reCAPTCHA) and to provide analytics about how visitors use the sites, such as pages visited and time spent. Our online ordering site may also use Google Analytics. You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
We do not use advertising pixels or ad-tracking technologies. Our websites do not use the Facebook (Meta) Pixel, Google Ads tags, TikTok Pixel, or similar advertising or retargeting tools, and we do not share information about your visits with advertising networks for targeted advertising.
You can set your browser to refuse or delete cookies. If you do, some features of our websites, such as online ordering, may not work properly. Our websites do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described below:
Service providers. We share information with companies that perform services for us, under obligations to use it only to provide those services. These include Springbig (loyalty program, text message and email marketing), Jane (point-of-sale, online menu, and online ordering), payment processors (to process debit and other approved electronic payments), Squarespace (website hosting), and analytics and security providers (such as Google). Our service providers' own privacy policies also apply to the information they process, including the Jane Privacy Policy, the Springbig Privacy Policy, and the Squarespace Privacy Policy.
Legal and regulatory requirements. Cannabis is a highly regulated industry. We disclose information when required by law or regulation, including to the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation and other Illinois cannabis regulators, through the State of Illinois cannabis tracking system to the extent required, to tax authorities, and in response to subpoenas, court orders, or other lawful requests from government or law enforcement.
Safety and protection. We may disclose information when we believe it is necessary to investigate or prevent fraud, illegal activity, or threats to the safety of any person, or to protect our rights, property, or customers, or to enforce our Terms of Service.
Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law and this Privacy Policy.
With your consent. We may share information for other purposes with your consent or at your direction.
Biometric Information (Illinois BIPA)
We do not collect, capture, store, or use biometric identifiers or biometric information, such as fingerprints, face geometry scans, voiceprints, or retina or iris scans, as those terms are defined in the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (740 ILCS 14). Scanning your ID reads the information printed or encoded on the ID itself; it does not create a scan of your face or any other biometric identifier. As required by Illinois cannabis regulations, our store uses video surveillance for security, and we do not use that video for facial recognition. If we ever plan to collect biometric information, we will first provide the notice, obtain the written consent, and publish the retention schedule required by Illinois law.
Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or as required by law. In particular:
Purchaser personal information collected from in-store transactions is deleted from our internal systems within 24 hours after a purchase is completed, as Illinois rules require, unless you have consented to us keeping it (for example, by joining our loyalty program) or we are otherwise permitted or required by law to keep it.
Loyalty program and marketing information is kept while you remain a member or subscriber, and for a reasonable period afterward for recordkeeping and to honor your opt-out choices.
Transaction, inventory, and surveillance records are kept for the periods required by Illinois cannabis and tax laws and regulations.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure, and we require our service providers to protect the information they handle for us. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by the Illinois Personal Information Protection Act and other applicable laws.
Your Choices and Rights
Access and correction. You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you and to correct information that is inaccurate.
Deletion. You may ask us to delete your personal information, including your loyalty account. We will do so unless we are required or permitted by law to keep it (for example, records we must keep for Illinois cannabis regulators or tax authorities).
Marketing opt-out. Reply STOP to any text message, click "unsubscribe" in any marketing email, or contact us.
Cookies. Adjust your browser settings as described above.
To make a request, contact us using the information below. To protect your privacy, we may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, for example by confirming the phone number or email address associated with your account. We will respond within a reasonable time. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these choices.
Third-Party Websites
Our Services may link to third-party websites and platforms, such as social media, maps, and our service providers' rewards wallet and ordering pages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated policy on this page and change the effective date above. If we make material changes, we may also notify you by other means, such as a notice on our website. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you acknowledge the updated policy. We will not use your mobile number or opt-in data in a way that is materially different from what you agreed to without your consent.
